RMP is proud to announce a new software feature more powerful than any software we’ve ever released before! Our new nationwide legislator lookup tool. It’s powerful in and of itself just for what it does, but what makes it even better is how easy it is to use. Just right-click anywhere on the map in the USA and map marker will drop. Click on that marker and you’ll know the State & Federal legislators for that location. You will have their names, webpages, phone numbers, & email addresses available to you instantly. It couldn’t be any easier to know who represents you in your State legislature or in the US Congress and find out how to contact them.
How to use RMP’s Nationwide Legislator Lookup Tool:
When you first load www.respectmyplanet.org you see a regular Google map just like you always have. All you have to do to look up State & Federal legislators is right-click anywhere on the map and a map marker will drop. Click on the map marker just like any regular Google Map marker and our software will retrieve the legislators & their associated contact information for the location you choose. That’s it! It’s that easy. It’s that fast.
If you right-click again on the marker, it will disappear. You can drag the marker to any location or drop another one in another location or drop as many as you want. Right-click them again, and they disappear. What could be easier?
This has been an important feature for us to add as it is important to know who is representing you in our government and how to contact them. It is also important to us to go nationwide and expand our useful software applications outside of Michigan.
Just to make it as easy as possible to understand how to use this new & powerful feature, feel free to watch this very short demonstration video of how it works:
RMP is a small Michigan based non-profit 501(c)3 corporation. And, while RMP has been focused on Michigan data and Michigan issues, our plan all along has been to be a global organization, with a global focus, and a global reach. This little bit of software expands our free web services to all of the United States as we slowly grow to cover locations around the planet. So we want to welcome new users from all 50 states as we start to incorporate more features and data to help all Americans learn more about sustainable energy solutions and water conservation. In fact, I even checked this new feature in Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and Guam; sure enough, it worked in all 50 states and all US territories.
