12/19/2025 - This LNG liquefaction conversion terminal has been cancelled. FID was not reached. Energy Transfer Partners could not sell enough of the equity stake to achieve a positive FID. WIll concentrate on more lucrative pipeline business

Lake Charles LNG (which is converting from regas to liquefaction) got a new contract with Kyushu Electric Power to help it toward its planned positive FID by end of 2025.

Energy Transfer is targeting a final investment decision on its Lake Charles LNG export project in Louisiana by the end of 2025 as it is progressing with contracting LNG offtake volumes, the U.S. pipeline giant said during the Q1 earnings call.
